Warehouse Storesperson

Signet is seeking a motivated Warehouse Store person or recent high school graduate who wants to kick-start their career in warehousing. This is an opportunity to cross-train and learn our business from the grassroots.

Signet is a national packaging organisation undergoing substantial growth, where every day presents new and exciting challenges. We have a vacancy for a full-time Warehouse Store person to join our busy Warehouse team in Truganina, Melbourne.

Responsibilities include:

• Goods Inwards - Receiving stock, unloading containers, receipting stock into the WMS System, generating appropriate labelling
• Dispatch - Pick and pack customer orders, perform forklift operations, loading and unloading, replenishments and movements, ensure orders are complete
• Warehouse and Stock Control - Report stock discrepancy issues, assist with stock takes when required, general warehouse housekeeping and cleanliness

This cross-functional role will allow a career-motivated candidate to understand how a warehouse operates and learn how to be agile by adapting to different roles and ever-changing priorities. Our current team pulls together to support each other whilst continuously looking for ways to improve and lending each other a hand wherever necessary.

• Strong IT skills

• Team Player with the ability to work autonomously
• A Forklift License would be helpful but unnecessary; this can be achieved on the job.
